The Porchville Stringband
GENRE
Pure acoustic bluegrass, country, and American folk
Six Voices, One Porch
Music that hits you straight in the chest, that's where the six members of The Porchville Stringband find their common ground. Since summer 2024, guitar, mandolin, banjo, double bass and fiddle build the foundation under soaring vocal harmonies, bringing raw, honest stories about love, longing, loss and everyday life to stages across the traditional bluegrass scene, wrapped in melodies that are anything but ordinary.
Rooted in the traditional bluegrass sound but never stuck in it, The Porchville Stringband moves easily between old classics and their own songwriting, proving that a genre this old still has plenty of new stories left to tell. The band made their mark early on, playing the main stage of the Rotterdam Bluegrass Festival.
Media Coverage
- peformance Rotterdam Bluegrassfestival 2026”
