EEN UNIEKE STEM IN BLUEGRASS

The Lonesome Malones is een gloednieuwe formatie van doorgewinterde muzikanten met een gedeelde passie voor authentieke bluegrass. De leden ontmoetten elkaar op verschillende festivals en tijdens EWOB (European World of Bluegrass) in Nederland, waar spontane jamsessies uitmondden in een muzikale klik die te sterk was om te negeren.

VAN JAMSESSIE TOT VOLLEDIGE BAND

Wat begon als een reeks gezellige jams groeide al snel uit tot een vaste band met een volledig repertoire. De Malones brengen een frisse, energieke sound, met respect voor de traditionele roots. Hun muziek ademt de sfeer van kampvuren, lange zomernachten en eindeloze highway-verhalen — gespeeld met vakmanschap, plezier en hart.

IN OPBOUW, MAAR AL VOL KRACHT

Hoewel de band nog in opbouw is — een violist wordt binnenkort toegevoegd — bestaat de groep uit ervaren muzikanten die hun sporen ruimschoots verdiend hebben op podia in binnen- en buitenland. The Lonesome Malones staan garant voor kwaliteit, chemie en een oprechte liefde voor het genre.

    The Lonesome Malones is a brand-new formation of seasoned musicians sharing a passion for authentic bluegrass. The members met at various festivals and during EWOB (European World of Bluegrass) in the Netherlands, where spontaneous jam sessions sparked a musical chemistry too strong to ignore.

    FROM JAM SESSIONS TO A FULL-FLEDGED BAND

    What began as a series of casual jams quickly evolved into a permanent band with a complete repertoire. The Malones deliver a fresh, energetic sound while honoring traditional roots. Their music captures the atmosphere of campfires, long summer nights, and endless highway stories — performed with skill, joy, and heart.

    STILL FORMING, BUT ALREADY POWERFUL

    Although the band is still in development — a fiddler will join soon — it consists of experienced musicians who have proven themselves on stages across Europe and beyond. The Lonesome Malones guarantee quality, chemistry, and a genuine love for the genre.
